Marina Port Zélande (Zeeland, the Netherlands)
Marina Port Zélande is located on Grevelingen Lake in the province of Zeeland in the southwest of the Netherlands. Marina Port Zélande is not only a marina, but also comprises a service centre, a promenade, homes and businesses. It is also home to the Linssen Yachts dealer Jonkers Yachts.
The marina is open all year round so that you can enjoy your Linssen all year round. When the weather is nice, even in the middle of winter, you can be on board in comfort. The facilities in the marina are particularly good. There are extensive sanitation facilities with showers and toilets. If you have very young (grand)children, you can also look after them here.
Near Marina Port Zélande is Center Parcs Port Zélande. You can use the supermarket at this bungalow park for your groceries and it's also easy for the children to play.
In the marina itself, there is also a playground for the children with, among other things, climbing and tumbling frames, swings, a football cage, basketball field and various tennis tables.
Grevelingenmeer
When you sail out on your Linssen yacht, you will come to Lake Grevelingen. A saltwater lake where there is plenty to see and do. There are many towns where you can moor your boat to discover the local culture and nature, go for a walk or perhaps take a bicycle to explore the province more thoroughly.
Places like Scharendijke, Renesse, Brouwershaven, Bruinisse, Ouwerkerk and Zierikzee are all within sailing distance or overland by bike.
Neeltje Jans
Be sure to visit Deltapark Neeltje Jans and discover how the Netherlands has the world's largest storm surge barrier that protects the hinterland from extremely high water.
ASeal Stellendam
On the other side of Grevelingenmeer lies Stellendam. One of the locations here is ASeal. ASeal is a seal sanctuary where you can learn a lot about the different types of seals, how they are cared for and how they are released when they are healthy again.
Linssen Yachts has a longstanding partnership with ASeal and has already sponsored several seals.
Brouwersdam
When you walk out of the harbour, you can go to Brouwersdam. A centre bursting with energy. There's a sailing and surfing centre, and for the more daring, there's the Waterjump, a big slide of 8 metres high and 25 metres wide that leads straight into Grevelingenmeer.
There is the large Eat & See restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the surf school and the slide. Here you can enjoy the surroundings while having a cup of coffee or lunch or dinner.
In addition, especially in the summer season, there are many activities, concerts and open-air shows.
