Marina and Camping Park Eldorado (Limburg, the Netherlands)
Marina and Camping Park Eldorado is a beautiful marina in the south of the Netherlands. Your Linssen motor yacht will feel right at home in these very clean waters. The marina has excellent facilities such as spacious, lighted jetties with electricity and water, a clean and modern sanitary building, wifi for the kids, laundry facilities, fuel station to fill up your diesel tank if needed and waste disposal possibilities to empty your black water tank and car park for friends or family coming over.
Boat shop
If you need spare parts, accessories, water charts, cruising routes etc. you can visit the boat shop in Marina Eldorado. The Marina is approved dealer for a variety of quality brands such as Volvo Penta and Vetus.
Maintenance and repairs
Marina Eldorado also has facilities to do maintenance work and repairs to yachts. If you take a year pass at Eldorado, than you could have your winterizing and summerizing, anti-fouling, bow- and stern thrusters, engine checks etc. done by the qualified staff. Winter storage indoors or outdoors is also possible here.
Restaurants
There are several nice restaurants and bars within walking distance of Marina Eldorado. Like Eetcafé Buitengewoon. Situated directly at the marina this is called ‘the pearl at Mookerplas’. With a varied menu chart, there is something for everybody, young and old.
Grand Café de Waterkant is part of Camping Eldorado and serves a variety of dishes for their guests and visitors. Strandpaviljoen Dushi 2.0 is also on the Mookerplas, on the other side of Eldorado. A trendy facility for a fast lunch or snack but also for an excellent diner.
If you need to cool down, you can have great ice cream at IJssalon Clevers in Plasmolen with plenty of seating. Other restaurants are Restaurant Grano, Bowling Plasmolen, de Pannenkoekenbakker for entertaining the kids great pan cakes, de Plasmolense hof, Restaurant 't Koeskeshuus and De Loopplank. The choice is yours.
In the direct vicinity of Eldorado is beautiful nature for walking, cycling and enjoying the open air. National Park De Maasduinen is in between Limburg, Brabant and the German Border. With remarkable plants, vegetation and wildlife, you can discover it on the many walking paths and routes.
Nature reserve Sint Jansberg is also known for its traces from the past. You can look at the old Roman Villa and the water mill ‘Bovenste Plasmolen’. Or wander around the Mookerheide of the former estate and castle that is now used as restaurant/hotel.
Cities that you ‘must’ visit are Grave with a beautiful historic centre, ‘s Hertogenbosch with a medieval centre, Gennep, Cuijk and Nijmegen.
