Linssen Yachts switches integrally to Yanmar engines for all its yachts
After careful consideration, Linssen Yachts has decided to switch to Yanmar engines because of their excellent reputation and wide applicability in all Linssen models.
By choosing Yanmar as the exclusive engine supplier for its entire fleet, Linssen Yachts can benefit from significant advantages in terms of efficiency, quality assurance and customer satisfaction. A unified engine brand not only streamlines the procurement process and simplifies logistics, but also enables closer integration of technical expertise and support for both production and after-sales service.
"Yanmar is known for its extensive range of engines that meet Linssen Yachts' high standards and the latest European environmental standards." said Yvonne Linssen, commercial director at Linssen Yachts. "Moreover, Yanmar offers an extensive network of service points along European inland waterways, so our customers can enjoy excellent service and support wherever they sail."
While we are proud of our partnership with Mercury and Volvo Penta, we are confident that the integral switch to Yanmar engines will bring many benefits to both our customers and Linssen.
Initially, yachts 40' and larger will be fitted with Yanmar engines. During the Linssen Yachts Boat Show - Spring Edition (24-29 May), the first yachts will be introduced with these engines and can be test sailed. Later this year, the smaller 30' and 35' yachts will also be fitted with Yanmar engines.
We look forward to continuing to provide our customers with the high-quality products and service that Linssen Yachts is known for, and we are excited about the opportunities that the partnership with Yanmar offers us for the future.
Linssen E-Drive
In addition, Linssen Yachts continues to look further ahead and is currently working concretely on its own E-drive system, based on LIPPCON (Linssen Integrated Propulsion & Power Configuration). This allows - unlike existing systems - not only propulsion but also 'home & Living' functions to be controlled.
