Join Linssen Yachts: Celebrating Experience, Building the Future

At Linssen Yachts, we take pride in our talented team, and in celebrating the dedication and expertise of our colleagues. This year, we honor four remarkable individuals who have each achieved an incredible milestone: 25 years of service. Their stories inspire us as we continue to grow and invest in the future of boatbuilding.

Björn Michels, Rennie Hénuy, Jan Vaes and Paul Beelen all 25 years at Linssen Yachts

Honoring 25 Years of Dedication

Björn Michels: A Family Legacy

Björn Michels serves as a production manager overseeing Logicam production lines and internal transport. For Björn, working at Linssen Yachts is more than a job—it's a family tradition. His father, Jan Michels, contributed over 60 years of service (in 2024), while his brother Piet worked with us for more than 55 years (in 2024). Even in retirement, they remain closely connected to the yard. With such deep roots, Björn’s career path at Linssen Yachts feels almost destined!

Rennie Hénuy: From Procurement to Sales

Rennie Hénuy exemplifies the value of versatility. Starting in procurement, Rennie transitioned seamlessly to our sales team in 2016. His extensive knowledge of our yachts’ specifications and features ensures he is a trusted advisor in the showroom and at trade fairs worldwide. For the past eight years, Rennie has been a familiar face representing Linssen at national and international events.

Jan Vaes: Master of Logistics

As the central figure in our warehouse operations (known as ‘Logimag’), Jan Vaes ensures every part and component flows smoothly into production. From stock orders to project-specific parts arranged by hull number, Jan’s meticulous management ensures efficiency and precision, keeping production on schedule.

Paul Beelen: Driving Digital Transformation

With a background in design and advertising, Paul Beelen plays a key role in modernizing Linssen’s communications. From managing this magazine to maintaining our websites and organizing photography and video content, Paul combines creativity with the latest digital tools. He continues to advance Linssen’s presence through Social Media, AI, and other digital innovations.

A Wealth of Experience at Linssen Yachts

Our team of just over 100 employees includes 35 colleagues with more than 25 years of experience and 13 with between 20 and 25 years. This collective expertise is invaluable, but passing it on to the next generation is essential to safeguarding our craftsmanship and quality.

Shaping the Future of Boatbuilding

Investing in New Talent

As we prepare for the eventual retirement of some of our experienced colleagues, we are committed to attracting and training the next generation of boat builders. By collaborating with local schools and training institutes, we provide internships in departments like hull construction, furniture manufacturing, module assembly, and engineering. Many interns go on to join Linssen Yachts after completing their training, ensuring continuity in our craftsmanship.

Hands-On Training

Our internship programs provide hands-on experience, mentoring, and a clear pathway to a career at Linssen. By inspiring young people to pursue careers in engineering and manufacturing, we are laying the foundation for a skilled workforce that will continue our tradition of excellence.
