Linssen Summer Tour 2026

Maasbracht
“They’re saying*‘It giet oan’* in Friesland,” and that is exactly where we’re heading, with Sneek as our final destination. Due to the low water levels, we are skipping our first stop. Tomorrow, sometime during the day, we will make our way to Leukermeer. See you later.

Well
Leukermeer in Well. Always a pleasure to visit. We just enjoyed a wonderful dinner with family and our colleagues Erwin and Ans at Restaurant Mio Mucho. Highly recommended. Tomorrow we are heading to Mook, Eldorado. You are very welcome to visit us there between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to view the Linssen Summer Tour yacht, the new Linssen Grand Sturdy 40.1 AC.

Plasmolen
Today we are at Eldorado Marina in Mook/Plasmolen. Come and visit us and take a look at our new Linssen Grand Sturdy 40.1 AC.
Drinks are chilled and refreshments will be available as well, all courtesy of Restaurant Mare and Eldorado Marina.

Grave
Next stop: WSV de Stuw in Grave, where you always receive a very warm welcome. Everything is top-notch and run entirely by volunteers.

Kerkdriel
Next stop: Kerkdriel. Along the way we encountered heavy traffic at the lock in Grave, resulting in a one-hour waiting time. In Lith we were able to pass through together with commercial vessels and enter immediately. The marina in Kerkdriel was quite lively. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Restaurant Dukdalf, another place I can highly recommend, with a beautiful view over the harbour. Tomorrow we are heading to Heusden, where you are very welcome to visit us between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. See you tomorrow.

Heusden
Today we are in WSV Heusden, a beautiful fortified town. You are welcome to visit us between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM and can find us at berth 110. This is our second event of the week. We have already spotted several Linssen owners and, therefore, members of the Linssen family in the marina. See you soon.

Altena
Our next stop is a short cruise from Heusden to Woudrichem. A relaxing day on the water. This is another beautiful fortified town, and of course it included a visit to the local pancake restaurant.

IJsselstein
After what turned out to be a long day of cruising, including a few detours due to low water levels, we arrived in IJsselstein. This will be the location of our next event on Monday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM together with our LBH partner Delos Yachtcharter. The marina at Marnemoende was bustling with activity and blessed with beautiful weather.
On Sunday there will be a crew change. My colleague Maik and his family will take over the helm and continue the journey to Sneek aboard the new 40.1 AC.

IJsselstein
Today I arrived in IJsselstein by car to take over the**#LinssenSummerTour** from my colleague Remco and his family. After receiving some tips for the coming days and settling into the yacht, we took a short walk around Marnemoende Marina. We bought cherries, pear juice and ice cream at Boomgaard IJsselkers (apparently their last day of the season), met some alpacas (without cuddling them), and enjoyed delicious mussels on the terrace with my family and friends. We finished the evening with drinks aboard our Linssen Grand Sturdy 40.1 AC. But it was an early night, as tomorrow is our first boat show. Will you join us? You are most welcome between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Loosdrecht
Today we held our boat show at Delos in IJsselstein. Peter Nijhuis arranged an excellent berth for us. At 2:00 PM we set course for Loosdrecht via the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal and the River Vecht. In one word: fantastic. What a route. Special thanks to Erwin Jacobs, who accompanied us today. Thanks to a customer we met this morning in IJsselstein, who lives in Loosdrecht, we ended up at KWV Loosdrecht on his recommendation. What a wonderful club and such friendly people. Tomorrow brings another day on our**#LinssenSummerTour**.

Muiden
This morning we waved goodbye to KSV Loosdrecht and set course across the Loosdrecht Lakes towards the beautiful River Vecht. What a route! The Netherlands is truly stunning when viewed from the water. The photos tell most of the story, but here is a small impression: I regularly let the helm take care of itself for a moment so I could capture the scenery. Don’t worry, I always kept one eye on the waterway. After passing several locks and bridges, we eventually arrived in the charming town of Muiden. It did not take long before we met other Linssen owners who were already aware of our tour. This led to many enjoyable conversations and lovely compliments. And not only from Linssen owners. Even boaters who do not yet own a Linssen openly expressed their admiration for our new Linssen Grand Sturdy 40.1 AC. That certainly made the day extra special.

Huizen
Today we made a short cruise from Muiden to Huizen. We changed our original plan to sail to Zeewolde because of the strong winds and the busy waterways. Tomorrow we will head for Spakenburg and then continue to Harderwijk. Today I also contacted our yacht charter partner there to arrange a good berth for Saturday’s boat show. In the meantime, we enjoyed Huizen, where we are moored at Marina ’t Huizerhoofd. What a fantastic marina! An exceptionally friendly harbour master and even complimentary bicycles to explore the town centre. Once again, we met Linssen owners and received compliments on our new yacht. The crew has changed slightly as well. One crew member left the boat and returned home by train, while another joined us. This evening we enjoyed dinner on the aft deck together with family members from Utrecht who came to visit. In short, another day with a golden touch.

Bunschoten-Spakenburg
Today we cast off from Huizen and cruised to Spakenburg. Yet another beautiful place in the Netherlands that we had never visited before. We wandered through old Spakenburg, enjoyed the atmosphere and discovered another wonderful corner of the country. As if that were not enjoyable enough, we also received visitors on board: former colleague Coen and his girlfriend stopped by, bringing a nice bottle of spirits with them. With good food, drinks and many stories to share, it was just like old times.

Harderwijk
Today we cruised from Spakenburg to Harderwijk. The day started in a very special way: early this morning the entire yacht was covered with small birds. It was delightful to see them landing everywhere and curiously looking around. Their way of thanking us for providing a resting place was a little less charming though... a considerable amount of bird droppings. Fortunately, that was quickly cleaned up. After a beautiful cruise we arrived in Harderwijk, where we secured a wonderful berth along the quay thanks to Yvo from Bly Yachtcharter. Our Linssen immediately attracted attention, as curious passers-by soon came aboard. From interested looks to pleasant conversations, it almost felt as if tomorrow’s boat show had already started. We ended the day in style with a wonderful dinner at Restaurant Johannes together with Yvo and Belinda. Great company, excellent food and a view of our Linssen. Now it is time for an early night, as I expect we will have many visitors tomorrow.

Harderwijk
Today was already the fourth boat show of our**#LinssenSummerTour**. Time flies!
This morning we first enjoyed a stroll through Harderwijk and visited the local market. Afterwards it was time to prepare for the boat show. At 1:30 PM the Linssen Boat Show beach flags went up on the quay, and from that moment onwards there was a steady stream of visitors aboard. Yvo and Belinda provided fantastic support throughout the event. It was wonderful to do this together and share our enthusiasm for Linssen with our guests.
It is always a pleasure to see people’s reactions. Every visitor was impressed by the yacht’s beautiful finish, attention to detail and, of course, its elegant colour scheme. We truly enjoy sharing our passion with others.
After a great afternoon, we ended the day aboard together with friends from Harderwijk. Good conversation, a drink in hand and simply enjoying the moment. What more could you ask for?
Tomorrow we continue towards Kampen together with friends from Heythuysen, and we are already looking forward to it.

Kampen
From Harderwijk to Kampen.
Today we left Harderwijk together with friends from our hometown, heading for Kampen. It was a very enjoyable cruise with a special stop along the way: at Elburg, our friends disembarked and continued to their holiday home by bicycle.
Meanwhile, we continued to Kampen, arriving around 1:00 PM. After mooring, we had plenty of time to explore the city. We wandered around, enjoyed the atmosphere and discovered everything Kampen has to offer.
Now it is time to end the day and get some rest. Tomorrow another beautiful cruise awaits us: on to Giethoorn!
We are curious to see what tomorrow will bring.

Giethoorn
Today we enjoyed another wonderful cruise, this time from Kampen to the beautiful village of Giethoorn. What a delightful way to spend the day: cruising peacefully while enjoying the water and the surrounding scenery.
We are moored in the beautiful and tranquil marina “De Zuiderkluft”, where we can fully unwind. It is a wonderful contrast to the crowds we experienced in Giethoorn itself today.
And crowded it certainly was. It seemed as though every nationality in the world had gathered in Giethoorn. People were everywhere, both on land and on the water, creating a lively chaos of boats.
Even so, it remains special to experience such a famous destination up close. And after all the hustle and bustle, it is wonderful to return to the quiet comfort of the marina.
We are thoroughly enjoying the cruising, the beautiful places and everything we encounter along the way.

Echtenerbrug
From Giethoorn to Echtenerbrug.
Today we cruised from Giethoorn to Echtenerbrug. What a wonderful journey through the Dutch countryside. Wide-open views, green meadows and plenty of colourful cows grazing along the way.
And then there were the bridges. In some places, bridge operators still use the traditional wooden clog on a fishing rod to collect bridge fees from passing boats. It feels like stepping back in time.
Once we entered Friesland, the landscape changed slightly, yet remained just as beautiful. And of course, the best view was from our own aft deck terrace. Sitting back with a drink in hand while admiring the Frisian scenery.
Today was all about peace, space and water. Tomorrow things become a little more urban as we cruise towards our final destination: Sneek.
We are curious to see what the next day will bring.

Sneek
The final leg of this**#LinssenSummerTour**: from Echtenerbrug to Sneek.
Today featured another beautiful stage of our journey, with Sanzi Yachts in Sneek as our final destination. It was a cruise with everything you could wish for: scenic waterways and an unexpected challenge.
Along the way we encountered a bridge that was too low for us to pass normally. There was only one solution: lower the canopy and bring down the mast as well. It took some work, but with teamwork we managed it smoothly and continued our journey.
Once we arrived in Sneek, we enjoyed catching up with Sandra and Sven, who kindly lent us bicycles. The perfect way to explore the city in a relaxed manner. We cycled through Sneek, enjoyed the atmosphere and discovered many wonderful places.
The day was completed in the best possible way, sharing dinner with friends at Restaurant ’t Vaticaan. Great food, good conversations and a chance to reflect on a successful cruise from IJsselstein to Sneek.
It has been a fantastic tour and an experience we will never forget. And we are certainly happy to have reached our destination without a scratch. 😎
