The way in which a dinghy is attached to a motor yacht is not usually stylish. Mostly, people cobble together a make-shift solution, e.g. the dinghy is either too big or too heavy. Although a dinghy has many practical benefits, it often gets in the way.

That’s why you should first ask yourself “WHAT EXACTLY DO I WANT TO USE MY DINGHY FOR?”

Mostly, dinghies are used for practical purposes, e.g., for a trip to the village to get some breakfast, to inspect the mooring or anchor line or to clean the hull of your yacht.

Obviously, the choice of a dinghy is largely dictated by the physical conditions. To prevent this choice from resulting in disappointment, we state specifically where the (physical) boundary lies in the relationship between the dinghy and the mother ship.
